Our founders said the people are sovereign and the government is the servant. The people, as sovereign should have complete and total access to government documents. This is the way it should be in a nation founded on Individualism. Collectivists (Marxists, Communists, Socialists, Fascists, Progressives, Democrats) believe that government is sovereign, and people should be the servants. It is the sovereign who determines what the servant can know.
There is strong evidence that agencies of the administrative branch of government have been acting as secret police forces, namely the FBI, and in so doing have been operating as an arm of a political party to further the polices of that political party. This is reminiscent of secret police agencies in collectivist nations; the KGB in the Soviet Union, and the Gestapo in Nazi Germany. These secret police forces operated without transparency, as does any secret police force of a dictatorial party; the Communists in the Soviet Union, the Nazi’s in Germany, and apparently the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) in the United States. The FBI has refused to turn over additional text messages related to two anti-Trump employees and senior bureau leadership. In recent weeks, the focus of text messages at the FBI have centered around senior agent Peter Strzok and his mistress, FBI lawyer Lisa Page. The two high-ranking bureau employees worked on both the Clinton email investigation and the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, which would become the investigation taken over by special counsel Robert Mueller. If [Attorney General Jeff] Sessions is a servant of the people, he will recognize that this is just the tip of the iceberg. He should send the U.S. Marshals over to the FBI and secure the evidence because there are other text messages that are the people’s and have yet to be turned over to the representatives of the people, Congress. The FBI, in their perceived role as the secret police force of the Marxist/Progressive Party (Democrats) has assumed the same stance of non-transparency as did the KGB and the Gestapo. In a stance that any servant of the people should take, the head of the Executive Branch of our government, Donald Trump wants the well-publicized secret memo that details alleged government surveillance abuses released to the public. Trump last week told Attorney General Jeff Sessions, to release the memo, also known as the “secret FISA memo.” It has been noted that Trump’s directive contradicts the Department of Justice’s position on the matter. The agency has said releasing the classified memo without official review would be “extraordinarily reckless.” It has been stated that Trump “is inclined to have that released just because it will shed light” on the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation. The rumors are that the memo will shed light on the investigation and will help the investigators come to a conclusion. The information does belong to the sovereign is the stance taken by Trump. The DOJ and the FBI are still taking the position that the secret police have a right to not be transparent. The DOJ and the FBI must understand we are an individualist nation and not a collectivist nation. We are the Untied States and not the Soviet Union or Nazi Germany. If there was wrong doing, it should be exposed and the guilty should be tried under the law. This is how a nation that adheres to rule of law works.
