TO DEFEAT THE ENEMY, YOU MUST UNDERSTAND THE ENEMY

Abraham Lincoln told us, "All the armies of Europe, Asia and Africa combined, with all the treasure of the earth (our own excepted) in their military chest; with a Buonaparte for a commander, could not by force, take a drink from the Ohio, or make a track on the Blue Ridge, in a trial of a thousand years.

Abraham Lincoln told us that nobody can overcome the American nation founded on individual liberty and freedom unless that enemy to America springs up amongst us. Sun Tzu tells us the only way we can defeat that enemy is to know who the enemy is, and I would add to understand the enemy.
The enemy to the United States, that enemy that has promised to transform our nation and to destroy the founding principles which made our nation unique and subsequently great, is operating in full force and has sprung up amongst us. The enemy has identified themselves, so we know who they are.
This is paraphrased from a story in the American Thinker:
The New Woke creed preaches that America was created by genocide, slavery, and greed.  Unique in the world, we are a nation with no redeeming qualities.  As Jeremiah Wright said, “God damn America.”  At the time he said it, Barach Obama cheered.  Now it is Democrat Party policy that America is deserving of neither respect nor admiration, much less love. Therefore, you do not hear Democrats say anything positive about this country or its citizenry.  The New Woke believe there is nothing positive that can be said and that all Americans who don’t believe exactly as they do are evil.
The woke left, which includes the Democrat party and RINO’s, are the enemy of the United States, the United States that was founded on the principle that our liberties are given to us by God and that we would be a Republic protecting those liberties for all.
If we are to remain a republic based on individualism or that all are free to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, we must understand better how this enemy, the woke left, thinks. We can learn much about this enemy to individualism if we will take the time to study people such as Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky. Both of these communists have had, and still have, a great influence on this enemy of freedom.
From Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals” we read, “The Revolution was effected before the war commenced,” John Adams wrote. “The Revolution was in the hearts and minds of the people.... this radical change in the principles, opinions, sentiments, and affections of the people was the real American Revolution.” A revolution without a prior reformation would collapse or become a totalitarian tyranny.
Alinsky, and the woke left, have understood that it is critical for them to capture the minds of Americans. The collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat, - all virtually the same) has understood they must use the arts of indoctrination and propaganda to convince people that slavery to the state makes them free. The left has been swaying the American public through these means for over 100 years.
Alinsky goes on to say, “One hundred and thirty-five years ago, Tocqueville gravely warned that unless individual citizens were regularly involved in the action of governing themselves, self-government would pass from the scene. Citizen’s participation is the animating spirit and force in a society predicated on voluntarism.
Alinsky went on to say, “We are not here concerned with people who profess the democratic faith but yearn for the dark security of dependency where they can be spared the burden of decisions. Reluctance to grow up, or incapable of doing so, they want to remain children and be cared for by others.  
Here we are desperately concerned with the vast mass of our people who, thwarted through lack of interest or opportunity or both, do not participate in the endless responsibility of citizenship and are resigned to lives determined by others.
The woke left understands two critical things as stated by Alinsky. They are, for the woke left to gain the power they crave, that the woke left must become skilled at using the tools of indoctrination and propaganda. They understand that a hate for American history and traditions must be instilled in the people.
The woke left also understands that it is paramount they must convince the people that government reliance becomes the norm as opposed to self-reliance, and that the American system is a system that spawns the few who are oppressors and the many who are the oppressed.
In today’s America, this enemy to individual freedom and liberty is rampant and is further inflamed by the spokespersons for the Democrat party and the RINO’s. In order for freedom and liberty to survive, we Freedom Loving Americans must openly admit who the enemy is, and we must understand that an indoctrinated person can not be told to change their minds, but they must be led so they can arrive at the conclusion that the ways of the woke left means slavery to the government. We can accomplish this task when we become skilled at “Setting Brushfires of Freedom” in the minds these indoctrinated souls.
