I see all these rational arguments, that make a great deal of rational sense, and I see all the statistics that logically would prove the case, but they do no good with those seeking to transform the United States. I have spent the last 25 years or more fascinated by the collectivist movement, trying to understand why anybody would desire collectivism as opposed to individualism. I have read many books on collectivist leaders, collectivist movements, and collectivist thinkers. I have traveled to many countries that have been ruled by collectivists. I still do not understand why anybody would ever desire collectivism, but I have a much better grasp on who they are and how they think.
The United States was founded as an individualist nation. That means that the people’s liberties were absolute, liberties such as life, liberty, and property or pursuit of happiness. The only restriction to these liberties was that one person could not infringe on the rights of another such as one person could not murder, could not censor, and could not steal. The role of the government is to protect the rights by enforcing the rules against murder, censorship, or theft. Collectivism is when the rights of the individual are subordinated to the demands of the group. This increases the role of government so now government not only protects the rights but defines and limits the rights when the collective of the state deem it to be in the best interest of the collective. Under this ideology, if the state determined a women should be able to deny the life of the person growing within her, the state would call that a choice and not murder and in this way justify the act of murder, if the state determined that what an individual said or wrote was not consistent with the politically correct sentiment of the collective than censorship was permitted, and if the collective or the state determined that the property of an individual better served the state if that property would best serve the collective or the state if it was in their hands so they could redistribute, confiscation in any form should be allowed. Individualists think logically while collectivists think ideologically. This is why individualists will use rational arguments and facts, and have no idea why the collectivist reacts as if what they said is totally irrelevant. To the collectivist, it is. Karl Marx said that all long-standing principles, all morality, and all religion must be abolished. Karl Marx said the collectivist is to build their own society ignoring what has been considered to be good or bad, or right or wrong. Principles, morality, and religion require a person to have a set of standards. The collectivist says they can not have standards because that limits them. When we say the only standard, a collectivist has is a double standard,it is correct and it is absolutely necessary for them. The double standard is substituted for a single standard only once, and that is that the collectivist lives by the rule, “the ends justify the means.” Whatever it takes to arrive at our goal we will do and when rational arguments or facts dictate otherwise, you denounce and attack them and you simply do whatever it takes to move forward to the ultimate goal. The goal of the collectivist is to transform any and every society, eventually the whole world, to a collectivist state. Karl Marx described this state as a classless society that would be totally conforming to their ideology and would be totally equal depending on how the elite rulers define equal. The collectivist will use any situation in any way they can to move closer to the end goal. The collectivist in the United States, and actually the world, despise President Trump. President Trump is the only President since Ronald Reagan to oppose the collectivist movement and attempt to turn the United States to an individualist nation based on the founding principles. Consequently, there is nothing the collectivist movement will not do to harm President Trump and any who support his efforts. They despise President Trump more and more every day because he has not, and every sign shows he will not, capitulate to the tactics or the goals of the collectivist. If you are a Freedom Loving American who believes the United States should be the individualist nation we were intended to be, you can make a difference. You can become one of the, as Samuel Adams said, irate, tireless minority keen on “Setting Brushfires of Freedom.” To be an effective warrior for freedom you must understand who you are and what and why you believe what you do, and you must understand the collectivist and what and why they believe what they believe. You must than not argue or debate with the collectivist, but you must set the brushfire of freedom. I discuss this at length in my new book “Setting Brushfires of Freedom” that should be available by the end of May. Our freedom and liberty depend on you.
