The United States is a very unique nation. I have said this many times because it is true. The United States was founded on the concept of individual rights. The United States was founded on the basis that these rights come from God and not from man nor government. The Declaration of Independence stated the reason for the American Revolution when our founders adopted, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. “
Our nation was founded as a nation beholding to God, to our Creator. We recognized it is from God we are given rights and the only role government has when it comes to life, liberty, and property, is the role of protecting those rights. The collectivist movement, or that movement that tells us government is the grantor of life, liberty, and property, and that the role of the individual is to honor the demands of government because that is for the “greater good,” has been determined to fundamentally transform the United States from an individualist nation to a collectivist nation. A major part of that transformation would be who is responsible for the children of the nation. The individualist believes that children are a gift from God, and it is the parents who have the responsibility of raising a child. The collectivist strongly disagrees and teaches that all children are the responsibility and property of the state. Karl Marx stated, “The education of all children, from the moment that they can get along without a mother's care, shall be in state institutions.” Melissa Harris-Perry, a collectivist and professor of political science at Tulane University, said Americans must grow beyond the idea that children belong to their parents. “We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we’ve always had kind of a private notion of children. Your kid is yours and totally your responsibility,” Harris-Perry said. “We haven’t had a very collective notion of these are our children. So, part of it is, we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents, or kids belong to their families, and recognize that kids belong to whole communities. Once it’s everybody’s responsibility and not just the households, then we start making better investments.” A Democrat-backed bill, AB 957, passed the California State Assembly and the California State Senate. If signed by Newsom, the bill would require judges to consider whether a parent “affirms” a child’s “gender identity” among other factors during custody battles. According to the bill, “the health, safety, and welfare of the child includes, among other comprehensive factors, a parent’s affirmation of the child’s gender identity or gender expression. Affirmation includes a range of actions and will be unique for each child, but in every case must promote the child’s overall health and well-being.” Assembly-member Lori Wilson said that “affirmation” could mean whether a parent provided gender-targeted toys, nail polish, and hair length. This is another step in fundamentally transforming the United States. The collectivists (communists, Marxists, socialists, progressives, Democrats) understand that to fundamentally transform our nation from individualism to collectivism is a gradual process.
