Our founding fathers understood the evil of democracy. Our founding fathers understood that indeed “democracy is indispensable to socialism and socialism is the gateway to communism” just as Lenin told us. You might say that the last sentence is preposterous because Marx did not write “The Communist Manifesto” until 1848 or some 60 years after the Constitution was ratified. You would be correct. However, collectivism has existed forever. Collectivism is communism, socialism, Marxism, progressive doctrine, or what the Democrats and RINOS are embracing.
Democracy was rejected by the founders because it is built on emotion and irrational beliefs and thinking. Democracy was rejected because our founders understood that majority rule of somebody, the body always changes under democracy, always leads to the loss and rights of those who do not conform to the dictates of those in power. For instance, in a Democracy you could have those in power imprison or silence their opposition. Those in power could hunt and imprison all who for instance revealed a stolen election, or hunt and imprison those who disagreed with those in power, or those who supported in any way, including liking or sharing a text supporting the leader of the opposition. All the above have happened or are happening now. Our founders said we will be a republic where the law, the law that protects the rights and liberties of all, was the Supreme Law of the Land. The founders wrote that protection of all into a document they called the Constitution of the United States. The Constitution of the United States specifically and absolutely protects rights and liberties for all and greatly limits the powers of the government or those in power. Those who favor collectivism and oppose the foundation of our founding or individualism, are claiming that the United States is a democracy, and that democracy must be preserved. This is so wrong. Our founders rejected democracy. They founded us as a republic, a republic that rejects everything that is democracy. The founder’s primary purpose was to protect people from the evils of democracy. George Washington, "It is one of the evils of democratical governments, that the people, not always seeing and frequently misled, must often feel before they can act right; but then evil of this nature seldom fail to work their own cure." John Adams, "Democracy, will soon degenerate into an anarchy, such an anarchy that every man will do what is right in his own eyes, and no man's life or property or reputation or liberty will be secure and every one of these will soon mold itself into a system of subordination of all the moral virtues, and intellectual abilities, all the powers of wealth, beauty, wit, and science, to the wanton pleasures, the capricious will, and the execrable cruelty of one or a very few." John Jay, "Too many... love pure democracy dearly. They seem not to consider that pure democracy, like pure rum, easily produces intoxication, and with it a thousand mad pranks and fooleries. James Madison, "Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths." These founders were not fortune tellers. They had studied history, which is the study of mankind. They understood how demagogues not only desired to gain total control but understood how to do it. They understood that when the complete protection of rights and liberties was breached, the slope became very slippery and those in authority would proclaim that such critical liberties to freedom as is freedom of speech, was not absolute but that the public must be protected from misrepresentations, from dis and misinformation, from proclaiming truths such as the 2020 election was stolen, that Ivermectin cures the China Virus, that lock-downs and limited liberty will not stop but promote the China virus, that vaccine has not been tested and is more harmful than helpful, and that Biden is the “Big Guy” who heads the Biden Crime Family. The transition of the United States from a republic to a democracy is the reason we have a two-tiered justice system and the reason liberties critical to freedom have been eliminated. Our political debates today center around how we can fix the different aspects of government. This is the wrong debate. The debate must center on how we limit government in both spending and authority and how we again restore our republic and eliminate democracy. This will restore our once great and moral nation.
