MARXIST/PROGRESSIVES (DEMOCRATS) ARE INSANE ACCORDING TO EINSTEIN

Albert Einstein is broadly credited with exclaiming “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results”.  Yet the Marxist/Progressives keep saying the cure all for economic problems is to raise the minimum wage.  The result is always the same, people are let go and government reliance is increased.  Perhaps the Marxist/Progressives are not insane, just feigning insanity to get the known results.  Those known results make more people reliant on government doles which creates a slave to the government which results in a voter for the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) big government policies.
 
There’s more than enough evidence to prove that hiking the minimum wage doesn’t have the desired effect of making everyone richer.  What happens is that businesses are forced to compensate for the increased pay by cutting back hours and/or staff. Many hoping to get an increase in pay suddenly find themselves without a job to work.  Studies show California’s minimum wage hikes will cost the state 400,000 jobs by 2022. Red Robin recently had to ax hundreds of jobs across its chains in order to stay profitable due to minimum wage hikes. It’s just not sustainable.
 
But if you need more proof, then look to Minnesota. That state increased its minimum wage to $9.65 for large businesses and $7.87 for smaller ones.  Minnesota’s employment rate dropped. Minnesota’s neighbor, Wisconsin, however, did no such raising of minimum wages and is seeing employment climb. This is one more drop in the bucket for the arguments against minimum wage hikes. While some may see an increase in wages, many are left without a job to get money from at all. Even those with increased wages may find themselves working fewer hours, and as a result, end up making about the same as before.
 
Fast food operators have also reacted to the minimum wage increases by using more and more automation reducing the number of employees.  Lay offs have happened, and hiring has decreased.
 
On the other hand, we have learned that when taxes are cut, and regulations are reduced, employment increases and wages are increased.  This scenario is just as reliable as is the scenario of increasing minimum wages.  Freedom Loving Americans, those who believe in individualism advocate for the scenario of cutting taxes and lowering regulations because the result has always lowered poverty, increased payrolls, decreased government reliance, and has allowed the individual to be self-reliant.  This scenario always results in a more stable society with decreased crime and more demand for less government.
 
The Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) advocates the increased minimum wage because it results in higher poverty, higher unemployment, increased crime, and a more chaotic society.  These results aid the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) in their fight for more government control over the lives and interests of the people.  The Marxist/Progressive understands that the more people who are government reliant,  the more chaotic and crime ridden society is, the more their ability increases to bring about a Marxist tyrannical state by ridding society of all long standing principles, morality, and religion that results in a classless society that is totally conforming their ideology.
