DIFFICULT TO BLAME THE VERY IDEOLOGY YOU FAVOR FOR AMERICA

It places people in a difficult position when they are questioned why the people of Cuba are vehemently protesting the very policies these same people are promoting for the United States. AOC and Sanders have taken the easy path and simply refuse to comment. Bernie Sanders has been a strong advocate for Communism in Cuba, praising Castro’s communism.  When Sanders returned from a trip to Cuba in 1989, he discussed the visit, which included a sit down with the mayor of Havana, saying, "The revolution (in Cuba) is far deeper and more profound than I had understood it to be" and encompassed more than economic policy. "It is a revolution of values in which people, instead of working for their own personal wealth, work for the common good."
Obama expressed his desire to visit Cuba before he left office because “now would be a good time to shine a light on progress that’s been made.”  He lavished praise on Raul Casto, praising him for “a big streak of pragmatism.  In that sense, I don’t think he is an ideologue.” He said Castro “recognizes the need for change.”
CBS News blamed former President Donald Trump and his administration’s policies for Cuba’s poverty and broken economy, instead of the island’s communist regime. Cuba’s poverty and broken economy has been prevalent since the communist regime took over in 1959. That happened to be while Eisenhower was still President. That was 10 presidents before Trump.
Jen Psaki emphasizes "a lack of access to vaccines" is a leading cause of unrest in the streets of Cuba.
The one reason for the uprising in Cuba that I have not yet heard, is that the uprising by the Cuban people is the result of climate warming, cooling, or just change. It has to be coming. Maybe Kamala will think of it on her trip to Kinko’s.
The reasons for the uprising by the people in Cuba are the same reasons we saw for the uprisings in Poland, Romania, Hungary, and even Russia, and that was all the evils of Communism. The sidestepping by the American Left and the Democrats is because the very policies that brought the uprisings in Communist countries, now Cuba, are the very same policies they are proposing and imposing on the American people today. The American left and the Democrats are trying to convince the American public that big government that tells people how to live their lives and how to think, is best for them. The Cuban people are telling the American people not to believe the lies of the American left, the Democrats, yes the Communists.
