Congress beyond any doubt is a runaway spending train that is irresponsible. This is something the American public has known for a good number of years. That alone shows us that the American public is its own worst enemy. Do responsible and knowledgeable people vote for others who are totally void of either?
This same story has been told before and apparently will be told again. Last week the senate voted to move forward what they termed an infrastructure bill. Yes, that was last week. Today the bill was released. It is 2700 pages that is loaded with left wing favors. Article 1, Section 1, of the Constitution says, “All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.” Our founders implemented Constitutional provisions, whose primary purposes are to create obstacles, govern the process that a bill goes through before it becomes law. The founders believed that efficiency was the hallmark of oppressive government, and they wanted to be sure that laws that actually passed all the hurdles were the well-considered result of inspection by many eyes. A part of this process would be having the bill discussed and debated in a committee, then move on to the floor of the house or the senate for more debate and consideration, and then have a vote. These steps no longer take place. Bills are no longer written by the people we elect, those elected people sitting on the respective committees, but they are written by unelected staff members. Those we elect have never read the bill prior to voting on it. This is why Pelosi made her infamous but true statement, “we must pass the bill so we can find out what is in it.” This is totally irresponsible, but it is the way congress works. It is the way the people we elected to be responsible work irresponsibly. We expect this sort of behavior from Democrats. Democrats prefer to act as if their transformation has already been completed. Democrats believe their position in congress is strictly for the purpose of promoting their collectivist beliefs. At the center of the collectivist belief is that all decisions for running our country are made by bureaucrats, technocrats, and experts. After all, they know better than do the people, how the people should live and think. The problem is with the Republicans who claimed to have the best interest of the people as their reason for being in congress. RINO’s have shown us for decades that is a false claim. It is time we who claim to be Freedom Loving Americans no longer support these RINO’S in any way. They are truly “useful idiots” for the transformation movement. Here is a list of the 17 irresponsible RINO’s who voted to advance this 2700-page gift to the communist movement. If you are a Freedom Loving American, you will do everything in your power to defeat these “useful idiots” and replace them with Freedom Loving Americans who are statesmen and not politicians. Roy Blunt of Missouri, Richard Burr of North Carolina, Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia, Bill Cassidy of Louisiana, Susan Collins of Maine, Kevin Cramer of North Dakota, Mike Crapo of Idaho, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Chuck Grassley of Iowa, John Hoeven of North Dakota, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Rob Portman of Ohio, Jim Risch of Idaho, Mitt Romney of Utah, Thom Tillis of North Carolina, Todd Young of Indiana
