The collectivist ideology subjugates the rights of the individual to those of the collective. The individual must always be sacrificed for what is termed as “the greater good.” Like so many slogans of the left, this slogan has no defined meaning other than does it contribute to the transformation of society to a society controlled by the few self-described elite.
The Democrat party in the United States is, and has been, controlled by collectivists. The collectivist ideology is the antithesis of the founding principles of the United States. The United States was founded on the basis of individualism, or the rights of the individual are always protected and upheld. Individualism celebrates those who shun conformity, who question authority, who believe there is a better way, who refuse to accept mediocrity, who accept people based on individual character, and who understand government is a necessary evil whose function is to serve and not reign. Those who are collectivists are dedicated to transforming the United States from a Constitutional Republic to a democracy because democracy is the required form of government that demands conformity to the supreme ruler or the unfettered rule of government. This transformation of the United States from a free nation to rule by a dictatorial government has been ongoing for over 100 years. This is the same type of transformation that took place in Lenin’s Russia, in Mussolini’s Italy, in Franco’s Spain, in Hitler’s Germany, in Casto’s Cuba, in Obama’s United States, and so many other places. Paramount in these transformations is the demand that people relinquish their individual rights for the “greater good” of the whole. This call for the sacrifice of the individual was introduced through indoctrination of the youth, persuasion of all through state programs of propaganda, and then enforcement to conformity and allegiance through intimidation. The Democrat party, along with their useful idiots, the RINO’s, are doing the same in our country today; that is indoctrination, propaganda, and intimidation. The collectivist has moved forward under the axiom of “the ends justify the means.” The collectivists of today justify the means of destroying the family through welfare as compassion, of abortion as choice, of perversions and immorality as inclusive, and gaining control of the population as protection and safety. All of these means reduce life, liberty, and property of the individual and bring about first, democracy, then socialism, and will end in total control under communism. Joseph Goebbels was arguably the father of modern propaganda utilizing mass media and technology. Saul Alinsky built on the teachings and methods of Goebbels. Barack Obama, who was called the best student in the history of the Alinsky School, perfected and modernized the art of propaganda and intimidation. Great propagandist like Goebbels, Alinsky, and Obama, are cunning, manipulative, void of any sense of right, wrong or character, and are magnificent justifiers. It was Goebbels who said, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” The American left today will use any means to achieve their ends of building a massive government that uses despotic means to gain control and keep control of the lives and thoughts of the people. They will tell any lie necessary. The collectivist movement is close to succeeding in their promise to transform the United States into a democracy which quickly becomes socialism, which is the gateway to communism. If you are not of the American left, which means you do not support communism, what can you do. As Goebbels told us, the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie. You must speak the truth. Yes, the left will use any means of intimidation they can against you, but freedom lives on because of those who seek the truth in spite of obstacles. As Patrick Henry stated so eloquently, “Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!” We must each ask ourselves, which course will we take.
