CHICAGO VOTERS SAY MORE INSANITY

Chicago did not support Lori Lightfoot for another term as mayor. Chicago is an example of what progressive polices do to a city. It is in the mode of New York, Los Angeles, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Seattle, Portland, and on and on. Crime is at record levels and increasing. Working people are leaving these cities for anywhere that is safe. The schools are failing with kids being given diplomas and not being able to read, write, or do simple math. Businesses are leaving in droves because shop lifting is encouraged by those in city hall.
Chicago seemed to be saying that they wanted to correct these problems and bring back law and order, bring back businesses, bring back schools that teach reading, writing, and math, and make their cities places where people wanted to live and not places people seek to flee.
Chicago voted to replace Lori Lightfoot with Brandon Johnson, an individual who is an even more committed communist than Lightfoot. Johnson believes the path Chicago must take is to tax businesses and those who work even more, after all isn’t that what you do when you agree with, “from each according to his ability to each according to his need.” Of course, those who have followed this path have always produced the results produced by Lori Lightfoot. Johnson is saying let’s do more of what has failed.
Johnson wants to place even more restrictions on the police, give them less, than what Lightfoot wanted. The only possible result is more crime.
I know, we are supposed to say that in America the voter knows best. That has proven to be false. Chicago just proved that Americans vote for failure. Chicago just proved that an uninformed, uninterested, and uninvolved electorate who believe government is the answer, will support those who promise what brings failure, those who promise more government, those who defy individual responsibility, and those who claim that crime and failure must be rewarded while good behavior and achievement are racist and beliefs of white supremacists.
Chicago is doomed to become an even more failed city than it was and yes it is possible.
