Canada’s Trudeau refuses to take a back seat in the absurdity race. Sadly, he has other Canadians backing him and oh yes, even “progressives” throughout the world will sing the praises of this confused individual as being groundbreaking and forward thinking. It is, however, an absurdity.
From the beginning of time, only people with two X chromosomes menstruate. It is a biological function. Only biological females can become pregnant and give birth. Never has any person who was born with an X and Y chromosome, or a biological male menstruated or given birth. The biological female has used different products throughout history during their menstrual times. The progressives have been playing this silly game they call choose your gender. They would have us believe that a person born as a biological male, or a biological female can choose to be the other. This is an impossibility; it is an absurdity. Nevertheless, the Prime Minister of Canada has declared otherwise. The headline: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has installed dispensers for feminine hygiene products in men’s bathrooms. Not all Canadians have bought into the absurdity as a staffer in the House of Commons said, “They’re also going to build dispensers for all the tampons which won’t be used since 1) men don’t menstruate and 2) they are just going to bring them home to their wives for free.” The absurdists won this battle for now. Absurdists argued it was unfair to expect “menstruating employees” to bring their own products to work, portraying them as overcome with insecurity and anxiety because they might have to take time away from work or school to purchase them in emergencies. This quickly became a demand for tampons to be made available to people who imagine they are menstruating because their periods are every bit as real as any woman’s period, period. “Not only women or those who identify as women menstruate. Trans men, gender non-conforming and two-spirit folks menstruate as well, and everyone who menstruates deserves to menstruate with dignity,” insisted activist Rachel Ettinger, who launched the push for menstrual products in all bathrooms in 2020.
