BETSEY DEVOS UNDERSTANDS THE CONSTITUTION – AND THAT IS WHY THE MARXIST/PROGRESSIVES (DEMOCRATS) DESPISE HER

Betsey DeVos was and is a brilliant choice for Secretary of Education.  The Department of Education, like so many bureaucratic lawmaking and unconstitutional departments and agencies of the federal government had determined it was their function to dictate to the states how our children were to be educated.  The Department of Education, like so many bureaucratic lawmaking and unconstitutional departments and agencies of the federal government had determined that it was their function to usurp the constitutionally mandated function of the Legislative Branch of government and make law.  Under the Constitution per the 10th Amendment, not even congress has the authority to tell the States how to educate the children within that state.
 
The Department of Education had quickly become the primary tool the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) were using to transform the education system in the Untied States into a system of indoctrination.  The Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) were installing the same indoctrination system in our schools that Lenin and Stalin installed in Russia and other Soviet States to indoctrinate kids and for the same goal which was to have the children become communists and slaves of the state.
 
Betsey DeVos has always stood for choice in education.  She has always advocated that parents should have the only and final say as to whether or not they wanted their children educated or indoctrinated.  The Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) were vehemently opposed to her nomination and demonized her in their typical way.  They despise Betsey DeVos today for the same reason they despise Trump; these people believe that the constitution should be honored, and we should adhere to its dictates because it was and is the protector of freedom and liberty.  This was the intent of the founders and they accomplished their goal.
 
It is for this reason the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) have fought for and advocated for a living constitution, which means the constitution can mean anything they want it to mean; the constitution can mean anything that will further the transformation of the Untied States to a Marxist totalitarian state where all are indoctrinated, and all conform to the Marxist dictates.
 
Most recently the deregulatory step of DeVos was that the Department of Education said it will not investigate or take action on complaints from transgender students regarding the open use of restrooms in public schools.  The Obama regime had unconstitutionally adopted a broad understanding of Title IX, the federal law that protects citizens from discrimination on the basis of sex. Under Obama, the Department of Education ruled that “sex” also includes “gender identity.” Now that bureaucratic decision is being reversed.
 
“Title IX prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex, not gender identity. Therefore, the question is whether a student (regardless of gender identity) has been discriminated against on the basis of sex,” A spokesperson for the department said that In the case of bathrooms, regulations providing that separating facilities on the basis of sex is not a form of discrimination prohibited by Title IX.”
 
The spokesman said that until Title IX is updated or revised by Congress or the courts to include “gender identity,” the department will stick to what the written law says.  Transgender activists are displeased with the decision to rely on laws rather than bureaucratic interpretations. “This is an abdication of its job and a betrayal of hundreds of thousands of students who just want an equal chance to learn,” a spokesperson for the National Center for Transgender Equality, said in a statement.
 
The Constitution said only congress can make law, not bureaucrats or the courts.  Thank you, Trump, and DeVos for understanding the constitution and adhering to it.  Now if only congress would read the Constitution, understand their role, and then fulfill their role, our country could operate as the Republic it was intended to be.
