Argentina is a country with inflation nearing 200% as well as a nation with a stifling bureaucracy, it is a country that was being transformed into communism just as Obama and the Democrats promised the United States. The Argentine people said no more, we do not like this direction, and we are going to reverse the transformation. That is a nation of courage. When people say we want a limited government, a government that encourages people to be self-sufficient and not government dependent, you have a nation of smart and courageous people.
Argentina elected to be their President an individual who campaigned as a small government, anti-socialist libertarian, a person who proclaimed self-sufficiency and not government dependence. He was overwhelmingly elected. The press called him a far-right outsider, but this far-right outsider won the election 56% to 44% for the socialist incumbent. That would seem to make the socialist the outsider. Argentina President Javier Milei used his first executive action to dramatically rearrange the federal executive branch, reducing the number of cabinet-level ministries from 18 to nine. Argentina is currently facing the most severe economic crisis in its history, the result of decades of socialist government spending programs and poor management. It has one of the world’s highest inflation rates, and is experiencing high unemployment, crime, and poverty rates. That is what we are experiencing in the United States. Milei has insisted that reducing government spending is a first step towards restoring the Argentine economy and making prosperity possible. That is necessary for the United States also. Of course, government employees are concerned about their jobs. The Milei government has explained that necessary and productive government employees have no need to be concerned. That makes sense as well. Donald Trump, please take notice. Learn from Milei, learn from Coolidge, the only president to reduce the size of government. Our Constitution specifically limits government. Adhere to the Constitution. In your first term you reduced the number of regulations. Continue to do the same, but this time reduce the agencies, reduce the numbers of bureaucrats, reduce government expenditures, limit the scope and power of government, and concentrate eliminating government dependence for any individual capable of self-sufficiency.
