On May 14, 2008, Comrade Michelle Obama said, “We must change our conversation, we must change our traditions, our history, we must move into a new place as a nation”. The Comrade was calling for a complete transformation of the United States of America. What we now know she meant is that the United States must move from a Constitutional Republic to a democracy, to a nation under the “dictatorship of the proletariat”, and to the left’s desired state of communism where all conform to a single ideology and all are equal socially and economically except the party elite who will have special privileges in payment for their extraordinary service.
What is a Constitutional Republic and why did our founders establish us as such? It is critical that we remember and that we teach our children and grandchildren that our founders were the first nation to be founded on the concept of Natural Rights and Liberties. This concept had been expressed as proper by a few, from the time of the Greek philosophers up through John Locke. No nation had ever had the foresight to reject a government based on big controlling government which is tyrannical government. In a republic, an official set of fundamental laws, like the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, prohibits the government from limiting or taking away certain “inalienable” rights of the people, even if that government was freely chosen by a majority of the people. In a pure democracy, the voting majority has limitless power over the minority. Our founders rejected democracy because of the unlimited power of the majority over the minority which they told us makes the democracy in fact a dictatorship of the majority over the minority. The founders also noted how history has proven that democracy quickly transcends from a dictatorship of the majority into a dictatorship of the few over the many. This is the “dictatorship of the proletariat” called for by Marx and his disciples such as Lenin, Mao, Castro, and the Obama’s. Our founders specifically stated in the Declaration of Independence that we are given inalienable rights from our Creator and included in those rights, not limited to these named, are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, or as Locke stated, property. The founders understood, again, because they studied history and understood that many people advocated enslavement by government and not freedom from government, that their new nation would be a Constitutional Republic with the rights given to men by God protected from the tyranny of government. The day the founders feared would arrive has arrived. Today we have many within the United States who tell us that nobody has rights that come from God because all rights come from government and government can take any right it wishes from anybody at any time. These same people denounce the United States Constitution and ignore it. These people are telling us that government can declare for instance, that unborn babies do not have the right to life, that the liberties of religion, speech, and assembly can be limited and abolished when the majority so deems it is necessary for whatever reason they conceive. These same people are now telling us that they can completely ignore the Constitution to deprive individuals of the protections afforded them by the Constitution. These who are the “dictatorship of the proletariat” are saying that a person they see as a political enemy can be impeached even though the exercise would be totally contrary to the Constitution. The Constitution specifically states that the impeachment process which includes a trial before the Senate is for the purpose of removing an individual from office. That is the only purpose of the impeachment and trial process. It is not for the process of punishing an individual who has left office. Article II and Section 4. Specifically states removed from office. We are also being told by the “dictatorship of the proletariat” that they have the power to prohibit an individual from being a candidate for the Presidency. The Constitutional requirements to be a candidate for president are that the person be a natural born citizen, must be 35 years of age, must have lived for 14 years in the United States, and to be president, must receive a majority of the electoral college votes. The Constitution does not state that congress has the power to declare people ineligible. Because Americans have not been taught Civics and now are not being taught real history, but are being taught a new history as called for by Comrade Michele and others, the “dictatorship of the proletariat” is declaring what they say to be the truth and it is accepted as such by Americans. All Freedom Loving Americans must take the time to refresh what they learned in civics and their history classes, or learn what they were not taught, and then do what all Americans who wish to live under our Constitutional Republic must do, and that is be about “Setting Brushfires of Freedom”.
