Does anybody really care what four professors say about impeachment. The United States Constitution explains the procedure for impeachment. The intent of the founders can be found in the Federalist Papers, by reading the notes of James Madison of the Constitutional Congress proceedings, and by reading other notes from others.
Whatever these professors state, and they will contradict each other, Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler, and their fellow Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) will run to the press when they think somebody has said something that will help their cause and cut off the testimony of somebody who is not supporting their cause. Anybody with any sense at all knows that impeachment is a political process and not a legal process. If it were a legal process this inquisition would have ended a long timer ago. The real purpose of Nadlner's hearings are to overshadow the IG's report. How sad. It is clear that in fact Turley has actually read and studied the United States Constitution. We know many students go through law school and graduate without ever studying the United States Constitution. If they had, they would not treat rulings by the Supreme Court as the law of the land but only as an opinion. And that is what will come of these hearings; more and more nonsensical opinion. House Judiciary Committee chair Rep. Jerrold Nadler has announced the four legal scholars who will be the first witnesses at his committee’s hearings on the impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump. The witnesses include three chosen by the committee’s Marxist/Progressives (Democrats), and one chosen by the committee’s Republicans. The Marxist/Progressives' (Democrats) witnesses include Harvard Law School professor Noah Feldman, Stanford Law School professor Pamela Karlan, and University of North Carolina Law School professor Michael Gerhardt. The sole Republican witness is George Washington University Law School professor Jonathan Turley, a liberal who nonetheless has become a frequent critic of Democrats’ approach to the Constitution in recent years.
