I know about what I speak, and that is that the movement of collectivism (Marxism, communism, socialism, progressives, Democrats, - all virtually the same) are out to destroy the society known as the United States of America. The collectivist hates the United States because it was built on individualism, which is the opposite of collectivism. Political correctness has permeated our society, and is a great danger to our society based on individual liberty and freedom. When others can explain this danger so clearly and so concisely, I believe it is best to use their explanations and give them the credit and hope all will learn from their insight. Here it is and I encourage all to read and to digest this accurate information.
POLITICAL CORRECTNESS – A Marxist Strategy To Destroy Capitalism… by Elissa Meininger It may not be obvious to you, yet, but WE, the American people, WERE being manipulated by a powerful, committed, and longstanding movement that, until Trump was elected, was about to transform our country into a socialist state – health care included. If that concept still alludes you, ask yourself why anybody cared if Ann Coulter was to speak at Berkeley last week. The plain truth is, if some people didn’t want to hear her, then they didn’t need to go to the auditorium. Duh! Are these vaccine damaged young people? Instead, the Political Correctness speech censors showed up in force and had a field day intimidating people to make sure nobody would be able to hear what she had to say. We see this behavior on just about every college campus in America these days and, sad to say, it is a reflection of the mindless activities college students are doing all day long. All that seems to be going on is ranting about victim feminism, the gay rights movement, Black Lives Matter, demands for special privileges, and safe places. In the middle of all this craziness the rest of us have learned to be fearful of what we say, what we write and what we think. After all, we might use the wrong word that somebody might find offensive, insensitive, racist, sexist, homophobic or God knows what else. In fact, for years, I’ve not felt free to say “Merry Christmas” at Christmas time as it was no longer politically correct. We certainly see this in US health care. How dare we question vaccines, the CDC, FDA, doctors? All of this was planned… Believe it or not, all this aggressive political correctness is the invention of a Marxist think tank set up in 1923 affiliated with Frankfort University, they called the Institute of Social Research. The idea was to create a cultural parallel to economic Marxism. Economic Marxism had a simple idea. Nobody should own stuff. Cultural Marxism?… Cultural Marxism (aka Political Correctness) was created to rewrite history, create divisions among people and no matter what the topic, to reverse truth. By the 1930s, with the addition of the ideas of Freud, politically correct thought took on a more powerful agenda called “Critical Theory”. The theory was to just constantly criticize Western culture, repressive capitalistic economic order, and everything else and finally break down the system until it collapsed. What would be put in its place, nobody cared. The breakdown of society was and is the only goal. How it is being used now in America… On college campuses we now see women’s studies departments to appeal to radical feminism, gay studies departments, black studies departments, all to recreate history and reality so people believe they are being repressed by the oppressor, whoever that may be that day – usually white people, rich people, men, etc. Almost 20 years ago, Bill Lind provided a detailed account of the “Origins of Political Correctness” which bears consideration today as we see major events almost daily on TV to illustrate what he was observing way back then. Cultural Marxism Is Destroying America Below are some highlights of Lind’s observations that cover both Economic Marxism and Cultural Marxism. First of all, both are totalitarian ideologies. The totalitarian nature of Political Correctness is revealed nowhere more clearly than on college campuses, many of which at this point are small ivy covered North Koreas, where the student or faculty member who dares to cross any of the lines set up by the gender feminist or the homosexual-rights activists, or the local black or Hispanic group, or any of the other sainted “victims” groups that PC revolves around, quickly find themselves in judicial trouble. Within the small legal system of the college, they face formal charges – some star-chamber proceeding – and punishment. That is a little look into the future that Political Correctness intends for the nation as a whole. Second, the cultural Marxism of Political Correctness, like economic Marxism, has a single factor explanation of history. Economic Marxism says that all of history is determined by ownership of means of production. Cultural Marxism, or Political Correctness, says that all history is determined by power, by which groups defined in terms of race, sex, etc., have power over which other groups. Nothing else matters. All literature, indeed, is about that. Everything in the past is about that one thing. Third, just as in classical economic Marxism certain groups, i.e. workers and peasants, are a priori good, and other groups, i.e., the bourgeoisie and capital owners, are evil. In the cultural Marxism of Political Correctness certain groups are good – feminist women, (only feminist women, non-feminist women are deemed not to exist) blacks, Hispanics, homosexuals. These groups are determined to be “victims,” and therefore automatically good regardless of what any of them do. Similarly, white males are determined automatically to be evil, thereby becoming the equivalent of the bourgeoisie in economic Marxism. Fourth, both economic and cultural Marxism rely on expropriation. When the classical Marxists, the communists, took over a country like Russia, they expropriated the bourgeoisie, they took away their property. Similarly, when the cultural Marxists take over a university campus, they expropriate through things like quotas for admissions. When a white student with superior qualifications is denied admittance to a college in favor of a black or Hispanic who isn’t as well qualified, the white student is expropriated. And indeed, affirmative action, in our whole society today, is a system of expropriation. White owned companies don’t get a contract because the contract is reserved for a company owned by, say, Hispanics or women. So, expropriation is a principal tool for both forms of Marxism. And finally, both have a method of analysis that automatically gives the answers they want. For the classical Marxist, it’s Marxist economics. For the cultural Marxist, it’s deconstruction. Deconstruction essentially takes any text, removes all meaning from it and re-inserts any meaning desired. So we find, for example, that all of Shakespeare is about the suppression of women, or the Bible is really about race and gender. All of these texts simply become grist for the mill, which proves that “all history is about which groups have power over which other groups.” So the parallels are very evident between the classical Marxism that we’re familiar with in the old Soviet Union and the cultural Marxism that we see today as Political Correctness. Lind leaves us with a final (before Trump) warning we must take seriously. ………America today is in the throes of the greatest and direst transformation in its history. We are becoming an ideological state, a country with an official state ideology enforced by the power of the state. In “hate crimes” we now have people serving jail sentences for political thoughts. And the Congress is now moving to expand that category ever further. Affirmative action is part of it. The terror against anyone who dissents from Political Correctness on campus is part of it. It’s exactly what we have seen happen in Russia, in Germany, in Italy, in China, and now it’s coming here. And we don’t recognize it because we call it Political Correctness and laugh it off. My message today is that it’s not funny, it’s here, it’s growing, and it will eventually destroy, as it seeks to destroy, everything that we have ever defined as our freedom and our culture.
