WHAT MUST HAPPEN FOR THE UNITED STATES TO REMAIN A FREE NATION

What must happen if the United States is to remain a free nation. By remaining a free nation, I mean where each individual is free to live their own lives, is free to make their own choices, and is free to have their own thoughts and the freedom to express their thoughts. The Declaration of Independence says that we are given by God, not by government, the right to life, to liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The Constitution prohibits government from infringing or abridging our God given liberties.
The transformation from a republic to a democracy, that has been called for by the American left, must be reversed. The American left wants democracy because in a democracy there are no limits on the power of government. In a republic, which is a form of government where the law is the supreme ruler and not the majority of a specific body, the law, or in the United States the Constitution, overrides the majority. That means that in our case, the federal government has only those powers given to it in the Constitution. These powers are found in Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution. The more we transform, the more power the federal government takes that are not sanctioned by the Constitution.
The transformation from a republic to a democracy that has been called for by the American left must be reversed. The American left wants democracy because in a democracy the majority determines what liberties the people can have. It is the majority that can grant liberties to all or some and can limit liberties for all or for some. That liberties are endowed by God and are unalienable is ignored in a democracy.
Freedom requires a virtuous people which would be reflected in a virtuous government. What history has taught us is that as the evils of hell rise within a society the forces of tyranny follow soon thereafter. A virtuous people would not support the sacrifice of children to the secular god of self-indulgence. A virtuous people would not protect and promote all forms of perversions including pedophilia and sodomy. A virtuous people do not protect the criminal and punish the victim. A virtuous people hold individuals responsible for their criminal and perverted actions that harm the lives and property of others.
Freedom requires an informed people. Our schools must again place an importance on educating people about our republic, how and why it was formed and how it operates. Voting in any representative form of government requires an informed electorate. All potential voters should be required to pass an exam like those who become naturalized citizens.
Freedom requires that the people must have confidence in their elections. Elections must be totally transparent. We must have election day once again. All ballots must be paper ballots and hand counted in the precinct and reported that night. If you have ever watched the results of elections in the United Kingdom, you will understand what I mean. All voters must produce identification that proves they are who they say they are. The ballots must be maintained for verification and audits. It is not complicated. It is fair and it is transparent.
Those who oppose freedom, those who desire dictatorship of the elite over the many, have learned that the best way to accomplish their goal is to create chaos in a society. Never forget that as the evils of hell rise within a society the forces of tyranny follow soon thereafter.
