The term extreme has become a part of the left’s narrative, along with their chant that the extremists are a threat to democracy. If you are a serious individual, regardless of your political party, it would seem wise to analyze this claim.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre gave her explanation for illegitimate Biden’s recent remarks. "The president thinks that there is an extremist threat to our democracy," Jean-Pierre said in a preview of Biden's planned speech. "The MAGA Republicans are the most energized part of the Republican Party. That is an extreme threat to our democracy, to our freedom, to our rights." She added further that "they just don't respect the rule of law" and are "pursuing an agenda that takes away people's rights." Biden recently said, ““But then we moved to this place where all of a sudden, the reason that made me run I decided was when you saw those people come out of the fields down in Virginia carrying torches, literally coming out of the fields, carrying torches with swastikas, chanting the same anti-Semitic bylaws chanted in literally the same anti-Semitic bile, chanted in Germany in the thirties by the Ku Klux Klan,” Biden stated. “And the guy that I beat in this last election, and when they asked what he thought, he said there were really fine people on both sides. This is something really wrong. Something is changing. “ What is an extremist. A perhaps common definition would be, “A person who advocates or resorts to measures beyond the norm, especially in politics.” This places the term extremist in the subjective category because we must identify norm so we can conclude who or what is extreme. In trying to make some sense of what is happening, we are constantly hearing that people are a threat to our democracy. In this case we would have to place democracy as the norm. However, the United States is not a democracy. The United States is a Constitutional Republic. We, who are considered to be a threat to democracy, are a threat to democracy but are strong supporters of our Constitutional Republic. What is the norm? Our founders specifically rejected democracy because they explained to us that democracy is rule by the mob, that it is dictatorship, and that it does not last long. We who are threats to democracy also disagree with it because we oppose communism. Lenin explained that democracy was necessary for socialism and socialism is the gateway to communism. Is our position of supporting a norm based on our founding extreme, or are those who support democracy and side with Lenin and Marx. extreme? You decide. We are told that we do not respect the rule of law and are pursuing an agenda that takes away people’s rights. Yet, it is the left that is calling for censorship, calling for restrictions on freedom to worship, calling on restrictions to bear arms, calling for infringement of rights in the 4th and 5th amendments, and calling for the obliteration of both the 9th and 10th amendments. You decide who is extreme. Biden claimed that MAGA supporters are antisemitic, and that we are the same as the Ku Klux Klan in Germany in the 1930’s. Biden, the Ku Klux Klan was an organization in the United States, strongly supported by the Democrats including your revered Democrat Senator Bird from West Virginia. It was Obama who supported the rise of ISIS and facilitated Iran in developing nuclear weapons, which Biden is supporting today, after Trump denounced the Obama program. What is the norm by which we will measure extremist. If we use the norm set by the founders, that is limited government and no abridging or infringing of liberties, then we “MAGA” people would be advocating for the norm and Biden and the left would be extreme. If the norm is unlimited government power and abridging, infringing, and abolishing liberties, that which is consistent with democracy, that which is necessary to bring communism, then we “MAGA” people would be extreme, and Biden and the Democrats would be advocating for the norm. You decide.
