Although Fauci is known for contradicting himself, perhaps he does have inside information in his latest contradiction. It was not long ago that Fauci told us he would remain in his current position until the end of 2024. On July 18th of this year Fauci said that he plans to retire by the end of Big Guy Joe Biden's current term in office as the government's top infectious disease expert. Although Fauci headed the NIH, he has proven many times that he is not the top infectious disease expert when it comes to understanding infectious diseases.
Now we are told by Fauci that he will step down from his positions in the Biden regime in December. Fauci, the chief medical adviser to the president and longtime director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said he will be leaving those positions to “pursue the next chapter in my career.” “While I am moving on from my current positions, I am not retiring,” Fauci said in a statement. “After more than 50 years of government service, I plan to pursue the next phase of my career while I still have so much energy and passion for my field. I want to use what I have learned as NIAID Director to continue to advance science and public health and to inspire and mentor the next generation of scientific leaders as they help prepare the world to face future infectious disease threats.” Perhaps Fauci is better at understanding that a change in the makeup in Congress is going to happen. Fauci has certainly been told directly that his service over the last 50 years has been centered on politics, on receiving kickbacks, and on promoting research that is detrimental to public health and safety and has not been appreciated by people in congress, scientists, and health care workers including many doctors who are concerned with health issues. It would appear that Fauci understands he has greater flexibility to defend his self-serving 50 years as a private citizen than as a bureaucrat. Of course, given Fauci’s record, if he should believe that the election results would be different from what is expected today, he would announce that he will continue in his current position because the nation needs him. In Fauci speak that means that if the Democrats would continue to hold the House, he would be free to continue his self-serving.
