The Horowitz hearing today was very revealing. There was the obvious takeaway of how the deep state has permeated deep into our legal system. That our chief law enforcement agency would have the gall and be so arrogant to abuse the law and common decency as they did is frightening. The actions of our FBI were nothing short of what one would have found common practice in the KGB or the Gestapo. This is not in any way hyperbole.
Even more scary is that if Donald Trump had not been elected, this would never have been revealed and would have become even more prevalent. Any person who believes in liberty and freedom should be outraged and demand that many heads roll, and yet we have James Comey claiming he has been exonerated. This is truly psychopathic behavior in the same way Rudolph Hoess, head of Auschwitz, would have been a psychopath. He would be in the middle of killing and torture all day and go home to have dinner with his family that evening less than a few hundred yards from where he was the servant of the Devil that day. Perhaps even more frightening is that these horrible abuses by the upper echelon of the FBI and the DOJ were disregarded by the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) of the committee and instead, they spent their time justifying the actions of Comey and his fellow KGB or Gestapo aspirants. The Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) deflected the seriousness of their actions and instead tried to place the responsibility for any wrongdoing on the very people who were the victims of the spying; Donald Trump and people within his campaign. The Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) did what all collectivists do and that is to not hold the individual responsible for their actions but instead justify the sin of the sinner and place the responsibility on whom they would call the oppressor, which is who the collectivist views as evil. Remember the differences between Individualism and Collectivism Individualism is the idea that the individual’s life belongs to him and that he has an inalienable right to live it as he sees fit, to act on his own judgment, to keep and use the product of his effort, and to pursue the values of his choosing. It’s the idea that the individual is sovereign, an end in himself, and the fundamental unit of moral concern. This is the ideal that the American Founders set forth and sought to establish when they drafted the Declaration and the Constitution and created a country in which the individual’s rights to life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness were to be recognized and protected. Collectivism is the idea that the individual’s life belongs not to him but to the group or society of which he is merely a part, that he has no rights, and that he must sacrifice his values and goals for the group’s “greater good.” According to collectivism, the group or society is the basic unit of moral concern, and the individual is of value only insofar as he serves the group. As one advocate of this idea puts it: “Man has no rights except those which society permits him to enjoy. From the day of his birth until the day of his death society allows him to enjoy certain so-called rights and deprives him of others; not . . . because society desires especially to favor or oppress the individual, but because its own preservation, welfare, and happiness are the prime considerations.” A nation built on freedom and individual liberty can only be a nation based on individualism. A tyrannical nation is always a collectivist nation. Under individualism the individual is responsible for their decisions and actions and the resulting consequences, be they good or bad. Deflection and justification are not defenses for bad behavior. In collectivism we operate on the axiom that “the ends justify the means.” Lenin said, “There are no morals in politics; there is only expedience. A scoundrel may be of use to us just because he is a scoundrel.” The collectivist will do whatever must be done to bring about the supremacy and domination of the state. This is what we saw in the Horowitz hearings. The Marxist/Progressives justified, deflected, and rationalized the actions of the deep state because they believe, and perhaps rightfully so, that a key means to their end is the deep state including the illegal and repugnent acts of the collectivists occupying the upper domains of the FBI and DOJ.
