We have seen examples of the differences before and paid no attention. In order for a nation to remain free it is imperative that elected officials first and foremost act as statesmen and not political hacks. George Washington said this was the reason he hoped political parties would never become a major part of the American political system. George Washington’s warnings went unheeded.
Today, we have a major political party who believes in the Marxist concept of “social justice,” total equality, and total conformity. All three of these concepts defy human nature as do so many other of the Marxist beliefs. For instance, Friedrich Engels explained how competition is a negative force and very harmful to society. We have seen the Marxist/Progressive Party (Democrats) try to show the harmful effects of competition by demonizing any who strive to accomplish and achieve. We also know that the Marxist philosophy teaches that all that is important is if the Marxist philosophy is advanced. The Marxist has always operated by their core belief, “the ends always justify the means.” This was made so clear when we witnessed how the Marxist/Progressives have demonized Supreme Court nominees, especially Justices Bork and Thomas. The American public has just been made privy to how the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) were in the process of turning the FBI and DOJ into secret police to control the civilian population understanding that the “ends justify the means.” Rule of law, right and wrong, good and bad, or decency have no place in the Marxist/Progressive (Democrats) playbook. Here is an excellent example of the contrasts between good and bad, right and wrong, and decency. Rep. Trey Gowdy revealed last week in a surprise announcement that he would not run for re-election this year and has decided to retire from politics. Speaking on CBS “Face the Nation,” the longtime South Carolina congressman said he decided to retire for several reasons, but mostly because he enjoys fairness and justice, two attributes that have made him a “lousy” politician. “My wife hates it when I say this, but I was a pretty good prosecutor, I think. I’ve been a pretty lousy politician. I’ve done it for seven years, I’m really grateful for the opportunity to do it, but it’s time for me to — whatever time I’ve got left — I want to spend it in the justice system because that’s where my heart is,” Gowdy said. “I enjoy the justice system, I enjoy being fair. I enjoy the pursuit of fairness as a virtue. And I’m just more comfortable in that system,” he explained. Gowdy went on to reiterate his feelings that just because he disagrees with someone politically, that doesn’t mean they don’t love America. But that virtue isn’t popular in modern American politics, he said. “I see multiple sides of a single issue. And the fact that someone disagrees with me, does not make me challenge their love of the country. It doesn’t make me believe that they’re corrupt. I’ve got a lot of friends on the other side of the aisle,” he said. “I don’t think the end justifies the means. I think the manner in which we get places matters, and in politics too often winning is the only thing that matters,” the GOP congressman explained. When asked if he believes he served justice during his time in Congress, Gowdy said: “I tried. It’s about winning in politics, and that is not what — the courtroom — there’s a reason we throw out search warrants even though we find the murder weapon. There’s a reason we throw out confessions even though we think the person did it. The process matters. The end does not justify the means. And in politics, it’s just about winning.” The direct contrast to Gowdy is Adam Schiff, Marxist/Progressive and ranking member on the House Intelligence Committee who leak classified information in an effort to discredit committee chairman Rep. Devin Nunes and the “FISA memo?” After saying the memo’s release would trigger a “constitutional crisis” because of the sensitive information contained in the memo, Schiff leaked classified information to reporters when discrediting the memo. Schiff told reporters that the memo’s central claim — that the Department of Justice and FBI didn’t disclose the political biases of a source when seeking a FISA warrant on Carter Page — is “unfounded.” Schiff told the media the memo’s claims were “not accurate” and the FISA court was made aware of the “likely political motivation” behind the Steele dossier. The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and New York Times all reported this, citing anonymous sources. It is now clear that Schiff lied. The DOJ and the FBE did not disclose the required information to the FISA courts. Schiff is a political hack unlike Gowdy. Schiff and his comrades do not care about truth and never have. The only thing that maters to Schiff and his comrades is that in the end the United States is transformed into a Marxist totalitarian state. Schiff and his comrades operate by the same rules Lenin and Trotsky did, “the ends justify the means.” It is sad that upstanding and fair-minded people like Gowdy leave political leadership roles and people like Schiff remain. It is also sad that so many voters in the United States continue to play the role of “useful idiots” to those whose goal is to enslave them in the Marxist totalitarian state under the demagoguery of the Dictatorship of the Proletariat.
