Thomas Jefferson - “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.”
“When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.” We were recently told by Biden that the protections of our liberties in the Bill of Rights are not absolute. Biden said this even though the wording in the Bill of Rights would tell us otherwise. We have phrases such as Congress shall make no laws abridging and the right shall not be infringed. To me that is absolute. The First Congress included a preamble to the Bill of Rights to explain why the amendments were needed. Declaring that they were a response to the demand for amendments from the state ratifying conventions, the preamble states that Congress proposed them "to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers" and to extend "the ground of public confidence in the government." Any erosion of these rights, such as was implied by Biden, does exactly that, it is government abusing its power, it is government becoming tyrannical. From Biden’s implication, all Americans must infer that Biden, speaking for the government, is advocating that our government should continue its quest to become tyrannical and lead the United States down “The Road to Tyranny”. A tyranny does not just ‘happen’. It evolves in stages. First, the people are dumbed-down and stripped of individualism by the state or collective and their proxies and accomplices in the school systems, the media, and social programs and policies which breed dependence – enabling the easy manipulation of the people at large by their ‘shaped’ thought processes, their dependence and their subsequent lack of clear judgement and critical thinking. This is indoctrination. Second, the state or collective identifies those who are not complying to the dumbing-down process – those who remain independent and critical self-thinkers who ‘dare’ to speak out, who organize, and who question the state. Lists are created. A police state develops. Third, the state or collective through its media and propaganda proxies – publicize, demonize, label, and penalize those who engage in anti-government anti-state thoughts, speech, or behavior so that the public at large will be deterred or feel threatened – silenced in effect. This is intimidation. Fourth, the state takes forceful action, prosecution, and incarceration against those who are resisting the tyranny. The United States, now controlled by the Democrats or the Communist Party of the United States, has transformed the United States government into a tyrannical government. The transformation of the United States to a Marxist tyrannical state, as promised by Comrade Obama, is now complete. People are in prison in the United States today and have been refused bail for the crime of being at a Trump rally on January 6th. So, when Biden said our rights and liberties are not absolute, he meant that any right, any liberty, could be taken from those who refuse to conform to the dictates of the Communist Party of the United States. This is tyranny.
