I have been accused of being hateful and divisive, and to those who would disagree with me perhaps this is appropriate. Benedict Arnold grew to believe that Washington and the members of the Continental Congress were hateful and divisive. When people have completely different ideas on how they view the world, how they respond to those differences to a large degree depends on their basic philosophy. To view those with whom we disagree as hateful and divisive is at the very core of the philosophy now being perpetrated by the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats); that philosophy of collectivism (Marxism, communism, socialism, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same). Individualists, those who understand that life, liberty, and property is at the behest of the Creator and not man nor government, believe that differences between people are because people are different and the right to have these different ideas is not only a natural right from the Creator but also strengthens and does not weaken a society. I have stated and believe that the core of the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) Party of today hates the United States of America. When I make this statement, I do not mean that they hate geographical area of the lower 48 and Hawaii and Alaska, but that they hate every principle upon which our nation was founded. That would mean they hate the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution of the United States including the Bill of Rights, and they hate the Bible and all Judeo/Christian principles. The principles and teachings of the previously mentioned teach that natural rights are from the Creator and government’s only role is to protect those natural rights. These previously mentioned also celebrate the uniqueness of the individual and that the role of government is to protect and celebrate those differences. The collectivists (Marxists, communists, socialists, progressives, Democrats – all virtually the same) believe that each individual is first and foremost a small part of a group and that the individual has as their primary function to adhere to the dictates of the group and to conform in all ways to the dictates of the group. The collectivist redefines right, and states that anything which makes the group more homogeneous is the obligation of the individual and that the only rights that exist are those that emanate directly from the authority of the group. This is the core of the collectivists belief system, and because this belief system is in direct opposition to the essence of the Declaration of Independence, The United States Constitution including the Bill of Rights, and the Bible, the collectivist must do everything they can to destroy any and all belief in these above mentioned. Karl Marx stated that in order to bring about a transformation to his classless society, a society that would be totally conforming and totally equal, all long standing principles (The Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution including the Bill of Rights), all morality, and all religion (Marx said his classless society must be a Godless society), must be destroyed. This is exactly what the Marxist/Progressive (Democrat) Party is saying must be done. Listen to them. The United States was formed to be a country that protects life, liberty, and property and does not limit or regulate them. The United States was formed to enable the individual to rise above any limits the group might want to impose and for each to aspire to reach the full potential of their uniqueness. Today the Marxist/Progressives (Democrats) are saying those who aspire are evil and must be punished because they oppress and take from others. This is fundamentally wrong as history proves time after time that it is those who aspire and reach beyond the limits proclaimed by any group that pull entire societies to new and higher levels in all aspects economically and socially. The collectivist philosophy is Anti American. The United States was founded on the philosophy of Individualism. This is not a hateful or divisive statement; this is a statement of fact. If we are to have an honest and rational discussion, we must remove emotion as much as possible from the discussion. As an individualist, I do not agree with collectivists, but the core of my belief system is that I will defend their right to their beliefs, for when I do not, I am no longer an individualist but am becoming a collectivist. As opposed to the core belief of the collectivist that they who disagree and do not believe in conformity and equality must be banished or eliminated, I champion your right to not only hold this belief but to openly express this opinion. The individualist understands that it is differences that strengthen and keep societies balanced. It is not my attempt nor is it my desire to be hateful or divisive. What I have learned is that it is critical that I as an individualist study and learn what you, a collectivst believe and as much as possible, why you believe it. I also must understand, beyond the bumper sticker and put down phrases, why I believe what I believe. History has proven that in all situations, those societies that adhered to individualist beliefs lived in societies with greater freedom and liberty as well as having a much higher standard of living for all people within that society. As an individualist, or an American, I must learn what it means to be an individualist and I must learn what and why collectivists believe what they believe. I must then start to discuss these differences with family, friends, and acquaintances. I must never argue or debate, only discuss because it is not my goal to convert them, but to plant brushfires of freedom in their minds so they can, through their own reasoning process, come to understand the evil and dis-trustfulness of the collectivist belief system. I have learned the best way to set brushfires of freedom is by asking questions to try to have the collectivist ponder and reflect. If and when the collectivist starts to ask questions, it is then and only then that you know a brushfire of freedom has been set. We must remember this collectivist ideology permeates our educational system, and our media and is in many churches and other organizations. Learn, discuss, and concentrate on planting seeds and not winning arguments. You will be demonized, but always refrain from being hateful and divisive. Stating the truth is not being hateful or divisive.
