The United States, when founded, was a truly unique nation. It was the first nation, the only nation, founded on the principle that rights and liberties come from God and not from man nor government. Natural law, mostly as expressed by John Locke, is stated in the Declaration of Independence.
From the Declaration of Independence: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.” Endowed means to be given. Creator is God. When governments revert from this doctrine it is the Right of the people to abolish that government and create another government that will honor that rights and liberties that come from God and not government. Politico's Heidi Przybyla echoed the beliefs of the left when she said, 'Christian nationalists' believe rights 'come from God.' She said, "The thing that unites them as Christian nationalists - not Christians, by the way, because Christian nationalist is very different - is that they believe that our rights as Americans, as all human beings, don't come from any earthly authority. They don't come from Congress, they don't come from the Supreme Court. They come from God. The problem with that is that they are determining- man, men, it is men are determining what God is telling them.” She calls them Christian Nationalists. We call them Americans. We call them individual freedom and liberty lovers. Any and every Marxist, communist believes the opposite. They believe as Lenin said, “Liberty is so precious it must be rationed.” She believes people are subject to the government. Americans believe government is subject to the people. This is at the core of what has set America apart, it is the core difference between freedom from government and slavery to government. She was not taught or did not listen when accurate American history was taught.
