IT IS WHAT THEY BELIEVE AND IT IS WHAT THEY TEACH

That our public schools have become cesspools of collectivist (Marxist, communist, socialist, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) indoctrination is no secret.  This collectivist indoctrination has been led by Teacher Unions.  Remember, the union is to Marxism what a strong family unit is to freedom and independence.  Marxism believes the state must indoctrinate the children so they will conform to the Marxist ideology.  In a free and independent state, it is critical that parents teach the children their principles, so diversity and free thought prevail.  Conformity is critical in a Marxist totalitarian state while diversity is critical for the perpetuation of freedom and independence. 
 
That Teacher Unions support collectivism (Marxism, communism, socialism, progressive, Democrat – all virtually the same) and advocate for all children to be indoctrinated in this evil ideology is no secret.  We have numerous examples that support this as fact and not conjecture. 
 
Here is another of those examples.  A "delegation" from the Chicago Teachers Union has gained attention after taking a trip to Venezuela and promoting socialist policies and dictator Nicolas Maduro.  A CTU organizer and three members took a tour of the economically crippled country, calling themselves a delegation of the union.  The trip followed a formal CTU resolution condemning the United States for interfering with Venezuela's disputed regime and calling for America to lift its sanctions against the country.
 
While on the trip, the group blogged about their experiences on the site Radical Educator Collective, praising the country's "free social programs" which "began under Hugo Chavez, and continue to operate under Nicolas Maduro."
 
Sarah Chambers, one of the travelers wrote, "While staying in #Venezuela, we didn't see a single homeless person. USA is the richest country in the world; yet, there are homeless people everywhere. Over 17k CPS students are homeless...This is why @CTULocal1 is fighting for fair housing #CTUAgainstVezIntervention."
 
And in California, the State School Board, supported by the Teacher Unions, is demanding that a part of the curriculum in the public schools is to teach the evils of capitalism and the humanity of socialism.
 
If you live in California, Illinois, or any state with strong and controlling Teacher Unions, and you want your children to be educated and not indoctrinated, remove them from the public school system immediately.
