Comrade Obama stated on October 30, 2008, “We are within five days of fundamentally transforming the United States of America.” The Comrade told us by his actions what he meant by that statement. He made it a primary goal of his regime to increase the size and the power of the deep state in the United States. The transformation to which the Comrade was referring was the completing of the transformation of the Untied States from a republic to a democracy.
When Benjamin Franklin was asked what we type of government the United States had been given, as he left the hall in Philadelphia after the Constitutional Convention had completed it its work, he replied, “A Republic, if you can keep it.” In a republic, an official set of fundamental laws, like the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, prohibits the government from limiting or taking away “inalienable” rights of the people, even if that government was freely chosen by a majority of the people. In a democracy, the voting majority has limitless power over the minority. In a republic the concept of “rule of law” must be followed. The Supreme law of the land is the constitution. Due process is defined in our constitution. The law must be applied the same to each individual regardless of factors such as political leanings, equity, or even past misuses of the judicial system. In a democracy, the law is what the majority says it is. In a democracy the concept of “arbitrary law” is applied. Our founders specifically chose “republic”. Our founders believed in protection of individual liberties and rights. Our founders demanded limited government and thus they limited the powers of our federal government. They specifically stating the powers the people had given the federal government. Every time our government exceeds the powers granted to it by the people, our nation is transforming from a republic to a democracy. Every time our nation restricts an individual liberty, it is transforming from a republic to a democracy. Every time our nation violates any individual’s rights to due process, such as the January 6th committee is doing, our nation transforms from a republic to a democracy. We were told by our founders specifically why they objected to democracy. What they stated has or is happening as we transform to democracy from republic. John Adams: "Democracy, will soon degenerate into an anarchy, such an anarchy that every man will do what is right in his own eyes, and no man's life or property or reputation or liberty will be secure and every one of these will soon mold itself into a system of subordination of all the moral virtues, and intellectual abilities, all the powers of wealth, beauty, wit, and science, to the wanton pleasures, the capricious will, and the execrable cruelty of one or a very few." Elbridge Gerry: "The evils we experience flow from the excess of democracy. The people do not want virtue, but are the dupes of pretended patriots." Alexander Hamilton: "If we incline too much to democracy, we shall soon shoot into a monarchy." John Jay: "Too many... love pure democracy dearly. They seem not to consider that pure democracy, like pure rum, easily produces intoxication, and with it a thousand mad pranks and fooleries.” James Madison: "Democracies have ever been spectacles of turbulence and contention; have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have in general been as short in their lives as they have been violent in their deaths." John Adams depicted the differences between republic and democracy when he stated: “A government of laws and not of men.” We must then ask, “why is the American Left (Democrats and their allies like BLM, ANTIFA, and RINOS) so determined to transform the United States from a republic to a democracy.” Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov or Lenin told us. Lenin said that democracy was indispensable to socialism. He later added that socialism was the gateway to communism. And now you know why the American Left is so committed to transform the United States from a republic to a democracy.
