From the Declaration of Independence:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.” We are specifically told that when a government no longer honors that our liberties are endowed to us by God and not government, we have the duty to replace that government. Today the government tells us that they have the right to declare that life can be ended before birth simply because the life is deemed to be a nuisance or an inconvenience. Today the government is telling us that they have the right to declare what liberties we are free to exercise such as speech, religion, assembly, and even our own health care. Today we have a government that is telling us they have the right to declare what happiness we can or cannot pursue and what property is or is not ours. Government has become destructive of the ends upon which we were founded. Article !! and Section 2 of the Constitution states the powers the President shall have” “The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment. He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments. The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.” Notice the President does not have the power over immigration, legal or illegal, over speech, religion, assembly, how we live our lives, what we think, what medical choices we make, whether we do or do not wear a face mask, when we can open our business and under what conditions, if we can or cannot leave our homes, what can or cannot be taught in school, and on and on. Have President and dictator become synonymous in the United States? A dictator is a government leader who rules with unquestioned and unlimited power. A dictator would have power over immigration, legal or illegal, over speech, religion, assembly, how we live our lives, what we think, what medical choices we make, whether we do or do not wear a face mask, when we can open our business and under what conditions, if we can or cannot leave our homes, what can or cannot be taught in school, and on and on. Are we obligated, per the Declaration of Independence, to replace our current government? Our President is no longer adhering to the limited powers given to the President per the United States Constitution but is instead exercising power per the definition of a dictator. Yes, our President has become in every sense of the word, a dictator. It is time to correct this problem. It is time every true American, every Freedom Loving American take an oath to preserve the very principles upon which our nation was founded, the very principles that made us a unique nation, the very principles which made us “the shining city on a hill” showing the way of individual liberty, prosperity, and freedom to the rest of the world. I am not advocating that we take up arms against our fellow citizens, but I am calling for massive civil disobedience in every area our government exceeds the limits and the powers we the people gave them. Civil Disobedience: Refusal to obey a law as a result of moral objections, especially through passive resistance. A form of social protest, involving the active but non-violent refusal to obey certain laws, demands, or commands of an established authority, because they are considered to be morally wrong or detrimental. a group's refusal to obey a law because they believe the law is immoral (as in protest against discrimination) We must once again hear the words of Patrick Henry; we must let these words ring through the heart and soul of every freedom loving American; this declaration must become our anthem, as we make the same commitment to individual liberty and freedom that those who gave us our Republic made. Patrick Henry: “Is life so dear, or peace so sweet, as to be purchased at the price of chains and slavery? Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!” We learned these were not just words. Many gave everything for Freedom. Do we today have that same resolve? Will you be a Freedom Loving American of words or of action? We must always remember that the American left has promised, by words and by actions, to transform our Republic that is dedicated to protecting individual liberties, to a Marxist totalitarian state controlled, even through despotic means, by the “Dictatorship of the Proletariat.”
