Hatred according to the dictionary is a feeling of intense dislike; enmity.
Irrational according to the dictionary is not endowed with reason or understanding, and lacking usual mental clarity or cohesion. According to the Bible, hatred is a poison that destroys us from within, producing bitterness that eats away at our hearts and minds. Revenge according to the dictionary is to to exact punishment or expiation for a wrong on behalf of, especially in a resentful or vindictive spirit. The alternate domination of one faction over another, sharpened by the spirit of revenge natural to party dissension, which in different ages and countries has perpetrated the most horrid enormities, is itself a frightful despotism. But this leads at length to a more formal and permanent despotism. George Washington “Sometimes it is said that man cannot be trusted with the government of himself. Can he, then, be trusted with the government of others? Or have we found angels in the form of kings to govern him? Let history answer this question.” Thomas Jefferson When revenge and hatred are used as our reasons for taking actions while portraying that we are governing, the only possible end is the destruction of government. Governing with hatred and revenge as our reason for any call to action is and always has been a call to tyranny. Are we now at that point in time when the answer to Thomas Jefferson's question is answer. What we are witnessing is an action taken outside of all reasonableness, outside of anything resembling fairness, outside of anything resembling rule of law, and outside of anything intended by our founders and recorded in the United States Constitution, the Federalist Papers, or any other recording. What we are seeing is the full implementation of hatred, irrationality, and revenge. This will always destroy.
