“My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.” Thomas Jefferson
“It is not tyranny we desire; its a just, limited, federal government.” Alexander Hamiliton People must make a choice, freedom from big government or slavery to the tyranny of big government. FREEDOM AND BIG GOVERNMENT CANNOT COEXIST. Freedom is the antithesis of big government. Thomas Jefferson’s reading of history convinced him properly, and that is that bad government and big government coexist. Alexander Hamilton understood that tyranny is always a function of big government. He also understood that big government can never be a just government that operates on the just basis of “rule of law.” Big government always operates on the basis of arbitrary law. Arbitrary law is the law of despots, of tyrants, of collectivists, of big government. This is the dilemma facing the American people today. Will we have freedom or will we have big government. The American left calls for the tyranny of big government believing that it is government that must make decisions for the individual, it is government that determines how people must think. The Conservatives believe in a just and limited government. A just and a limited government requires a people who desires freedom. Freedom requires that the individual make their own decisions and takes responsibility for those choices. Freedom requires that the individual be informed so they can make informed choices. Freedom requires a people who understand how important it is for them to make the effort to be interested, informed, and involved. Each American must ask if they want freedom or big government. Any American who takes the middle road, is in fact supporting the movement to big government. Big government dictates that the individual is secondary and must have as their only goal that which is determined to be “the greater good.” When big government determines the individual must forsake their desires and best judgement for what is determined to be “the greater good,” the individual must adhere to the dictates or they will be ostracized, demonized, segregated, and even eliminated. Any who would defend the rights of the individual, will be treated the same. Big government requires total conformity. Big government can, will, and does change the law as it determines necessary to bring about their ultimate goal of total conformity, social justice, and economic justice as they define these to be. When the change is announced, all are expected to champion that change, “for the greater good.” It is because of the above that the United States was founded based on always having a limited government. Our founders favored freedom and consequently feared government. They recognized government was but a necessary evil. The big government advocates are now in charge of our nation. We are experiencing all that our founders feared, and knew big government would entail. We have dictatorial executive and judicial branches of government. Both branches choose the “greater good” over the rights of the individual. We have a government that condones and encourages voter fraud, a DOJ and FBI as political enforcers, show trials of those who disagree with the big government advocates, and indoctrination, propaganda, and intimidation to bring about conformity. What Freedom Loving Americans must understand if we are to reverse this big government movement is that freedom is not simple nor is it free. A free people must be an interested, informed, and involved people. We must assume the same resolve as our founders assumed when they paid such a great price to win freedom. We must be willing to pay the price. We can no longer advocate for a reduction in the growth of government, but we must demand a real and actual reduction in government. Unnecessary and enslaving government must be eliminated. This means all departments and agencies must be reviewed. Departments like education, housing, agriculture, and so many others must be eliminated with those functions being returned to the states. All laws and regulations must be reviewed and those that place tyrannical control in the hands of the federal government must be reversed and eliminated. We the people must make government a servant again and not the sovereign. People will tell me that the American Left must be completely removed. I say absolutely not. If we ostracize, demonize, segregate, and eliminate those on the left, we have not brought freedom, but have replaced tyranny with tyranny. What we must do is to remove the big government advocates who would want us to believe they are Freedom Loving Americans from our leadership. The McConnell’s and the McCarthy’s must be removed from their leadership positions. All “useful idiots” of the American Left must be removed from leadership. That is those who advocate for more government but at a slower pace, are not friends of freedom. The task ahead of us, if we are to reverse the movement toward tyranny in our nation, is not an easy task. In fact, it is a difficult task, but as Thomas Paine told us, “Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered.” My question to each of you who claims to love freedom more than tyranny is, “do you have the desire and resolve necessary to live free from the tyranny of government or are you in the camp of summer soldiers and sunshine patriots who shrink from the call to duty. It is not your words that freedom demands, but it is your actions when duty calls. Duty is calling right now.
