Biden buys time but Democratic senator warns he could lose in ‘landslide’
Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet was among three Democrats who privately voiced fears that Biden couldn’t win in November, sources told CNN’s Dana Bash, and then became the first of his colleagues to go public.
“It’s true that I said that,” Bennet told CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. “Donald Trump is on track, I think, to win this election and maybe win it by a landslide and take with him the Senate and the House.” He added: “So for me, this isn’t a question about polling. It’s not a question about politics. It’s a moral question about the future of our country.”
“The White House, in the time since that disastrous debate, I think, has done nothing to really demonstrate that they have a plan to win this election.”
The scenario described by Bennet would be best for America. That scenario would have Trump in the White House, a larger majority in the House, and Schumer out as Majority leader in the Senate. Through into that equation that McConnell would not be the majority leader but hopefully he would be replaced by a Constitutionalist like Rick Scott.
If the above were to happen, our border would be closed, sound economic policies would happen again, no liberal judges would be confirmed, our military would be returned to defending our nation and not be an experiment for silly woke ideas, law and order would be restored, class and dignity would be in the White House again as opposed to the criminals that now occupy it, fair and honest elections would again prevail, and the deep state would be exposed and removed. All of this is good.
Yes. Sleepy Joe, Crooked Joe, Big Guy Joe, and all that entails would be removed and hopefully prosecuted. As important as that is, even more important is that sound policies would be restored. Our Department of Justice and Federal Bureau of Investigation would be revamped so that they have as their goal law and order and not prosecution of political enemies. Trust in our government would be restored.
Our military will be rebuilt, and our bureaucracy must be reduced, even halved like it was in Argentina.
Let us all work to bring about what Bennet predicted.
