Cuba Uses Forced ‘Confessions,’ Club-Wielding Communists to Subdue Protests
Cuban citizens carried out a new round of peaceful protests against the communist Castro regime throughout the weekend, once again demanding freedom and protesting against the blackouts and inhumane conditions that the Castro regime continues to subject them to. Dozens of Cuban citizens gathered outside the regime’s Municipal Assembly headquarters in Jagüey Grande, Matanzas province, to bang pots and pans and demand electricity in the face of another mandatory evening blackout. The Castro regime suppressed the protests using paramilitaries dressed in civilian clothes and armed with wooden clubs. At least four dozen protesters were detained, many of which were beaten and prosecuted in retaliation. The Cuban Observatory for Human Rights (OCDH), a non-governmental organization, reported that at least 275 acts of repression carried out by the Castro regime against protesters were documented during September. The Observatory clarified that the total amount is near impossible to quantify, as the Observatory cannot document the massive number of arbitrary arrests, threats, and harassment carried out by the Castro regime against Cuban civilians in its entirety. The January 6th committee has followed this same course that is typical of all communist regimes. Today, people who have been accused of being insurrectionists and traitors sit in solitary confinement in squalid conditions, never having been charged with a crime, denied bail, and still have no court date. Others like them, when the charges were actually made were charged with such heinous crimes as trespassing and walking on the grass of the capitol. Not one person has been charged with insurrection or treason. We are reading on a regular basis how the FBI arrives at homes in combat dress including guns, only to take away a person who is accused of protesting in front of what is called a reproductive health care or abortion clinic, which is in fact an execution center for an unborn or recently born baby. These Americans and these Cubans are being arrested, beaten, and forced to confess to silly crimes, much like took place in the Soviet Union, and now takes place in Communist China, because they peacefully protested against the position of the regime in power. The illegitimate Biden regime is no different from the communist tyrannical regimes of Cuba, Soviet Russia, or the CCP. They all believe in unlimited and absolute power of the state and restricted and rationed liberty of the people.
