CLAPPER HAS LIED BEFORE AND WILL CONTINUE TO LIE

James Clapper has lied to Congress before.  Holder and other staff of the DOJ lied to Congress.  One has to ask, “when was the last time someone from the IRS told the truth to Congress.”  During the Obama regime it was more common for those representing the executive branch to lie or knowingly mislead Congress including Hilary Clinton than to be honest and transparent.  Never once were any of these “witnesses” called out for knowingly misleading or out right lying to Congress.  The Obama regime put party and ideology above the good of the country because they are and were more loyal to the Marxist/Progressive movement than they are to the welfare of the United States.
 
“When initially asked about leaks related to the CIA in July 2017, former DNI Clapper flatly denied ‘discussing the dossier [compiled by Steele], or any other intelligence related to Russia hacking of the 2016 election with journalists’,” the report read.
 
But the report stated that Clapper “subsequently acknowledged discussing the ‘dossier with CNN journalist Jake Tapper,’ and admitted that he might have spoken with other journalists about the same topic.”
 
Clapper became a CNN national security analyst in August 2017, just one month after his "executive interview" with the committee.
 
According to the report, Clapper’s communication with Tapper took place in early January, around the same time leaders of the intelligence community briefed then-President Barack Obama and President-elect Trump on “the Christopher Steele information.” The report noted the dossier was provided in a “two-page summary.”
 
On Jan. 10, 2017, Tapper and other CNN journalists published an article that claimed classified documents, in the form of a two-page synopsis, were presented to Obama and Trump including allegations that Russian operatives claimed to have compromising information on the incoming president. 
 
It was an exchange made famous not because of what was said at the time, but because of what Americans discovered later.
 
At the tail end of a rare open session of the Senate Intelligence Committee on March 12, 2013, Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., asked National Intelligence Director James Clapper whether intelligence officials collect data on Americans.
 
Clapper responded "No, sir," and, "Not wittingly."
 
In the following months, a series of news stories fueled by leaks from former National Security Agency contractor Edward Snowden revealed that wasn’t the case. Reports showed the government was collecting and storing bulk metadata of American phone records and had methods for capturing a vast amount of email and Internet data as well.
 
In May, after Trump fired FBI Director James B. Comey, Clapper said the country’s core institutions were under assault from Trump.
 
“I think the Founding Fathers, in their genius, created a system of three coequal branches of government and a built-in system of checks and balances,” Clapper told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “And I feel as though it’s under assault and eroding.”
 
Recently, Clapper stated, “I really question his ability to be — his fitness to be — in this office, I also am beginning to wonder about his motivation for it — maybe he is looking for a way out.”
 
What we know is that if a member of the executive branch of the government knowingly and wittingly lies to members of the legislative branch, it clearly reveals a lack of respect and admiration for our Constitution and that individual should have been immediately removed from his position.  All Freedom Loving Americans should treat that individual with disdain and not give anything they have to say any credibility.  Clapper lied to protect himself and put self above the good of the county, just as have Comey, Hillary, Holder, IRS representatives, Obama, and as do Marxist/Progressives.
