BEHIND THE HEADLINES

Many Americans have no idea what is happening. Many Americans are not aware that we are about to become a true democracy. Many Americans would say that is how we were formed and that is what we should be. Many Americans have no idea that they are about to lose any precept of freedom, they have already lost many of the freedoms guaranteed in the Constitution and are about to lose them all.
When I say many Americans, I am referring to those who pay no attention to the news, I am referring to those who passively listen to the news. I am referring to those who actively listen to the news. Those who actively listen to the news do not understand how close we are to losing our freedoms because they believe the loss of freedom is based on the differences between the political parties.
Whether you are dedicated to the Democrat party or the Republican party, and do not understand what guarantees freedom, your current defenses of your positions are nothing but a meaningless clanking bell. Each American must decide for themselves if they wish to be government reliant or self-reliant. Government reliant means you are willing to have the government tell you how you must live your life, choices you must make, and thoughts you can have. If you choose self-reliant you are independent from the demands of government, but it requires that you take responsibility for the consequences of living your own life, making your own choices, and thinking for yourself.
Our founders chose self-reliant. To ensure that they would be free from being a slave to government, they specifically limited the power of government and insured that the liberty of the individual would not be abridged, infringed, or abolished. For this to happen, they understood they must establish a republic and reject democracy. As we transform from a republic to a democracy, government no longer adheres to the limitations placed upon it by the Constitution, and the liberties of the individual are abridged, infringed, and in some case abolished or obliterated.
Each American must make sure they understand the differences. Once they understand the differences they will be able to choose the course they want our country to follow. This is not whether they will be a Democrat or a Republican, but whether they will be a government reliant individual or a self-reliant individual, whether they will live under a government that determines how they will live their life, choices they must make, and thoughts they can have, or will they determine how they live their life, choices they make, and thoughts they have.
That is the headline we never see, but it is the force behind every headline today.
