A FALSE NARRATIVE HAS COME HOME TO HAUNT

Klaus Schwab, the founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF), is clearly an advocate of more government control of the economy so as to protect the environment. In May of 2020, the WEF joined together with Prince Charles, the now King of England, in launching “The Great Reset” project, which has since been supported by progressive politicians all over the world, including Joe Biden. The intention of the project, Schwab insists, is to reconsider the meaning of capitalism. He favors moving on from free-market fundamentalism toward international cooperation.
For decades, progressives have attempted to use climate change to justify liberal policy changes. But their latest attempt – a new proposal called the “Great Reset” – is the most ambitious and radical plan the world has seen in more than a generation. At a virtual meeting earlier in June hosted by the World Economic Forum, some of the planet’s most powerful business leaders, government officials and activists announced a proposal to “reset” the global economy. Instead of traditional capitalism, the high-profile group said the world should adopt more socialistic policies, such as wealth taxes, additional regulations, and massive Green New Deal-like government programs.
“Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed,” wrote Klaus Schwab.
For the most part, the European Union has adopted this radical policy of massive Green New Deal government programs. Perhaps none more than Germany. In the United States, the ultra “progressive” state of California has been a leader in adopting green policies.
Today Germany is facing a crisis and to a slightly lesser extent the rest of Europe. Germany and other EU nations, have ended their own fossil fuel and nuclear sources of energy, relying on what are called renewable sources, wind and solar. The wind and solar have been a great feel-good source, but has done little to supply the necessary energy. Germany and other countries have relied on fossil fuel energy supplied by Russia for their energy needs. Russia has, for political purposes, told Germany and the EU that their fossil fuel will no longer flow westward. Germany and the EU have seen increases in energy costs of 10X and higher. Unfortunately, even with the higher costs, the actual energy necessary to provide heat this winter will not be available. Germans and other Europeans are looking at a cold winter. Their feel-good green energy policies will not keep them warm.
California is trying to outdo all other states and many nations with their “look at us” foolish policies. It was just announced this summer that by 2030 no new gas-powered cars can be sold in California. That same week, the governor announced that any current electric cars should not be recharged because the strain on the energy grid would be too great. A typical weather pattern had settled on California and once again it is proven that green energy is a pipe dream despite its feel-good benefits. A scheduled closure of a nuclear power plant will not happen, and fossil fuel suppliers of energy were reignited.
That a community, a state, a nation, or the global community can be powered by renewable sources has proven to be a dream time and time again. Yet the dreamers, the progressives, the foolish keep insisting that it is now viable. Klaus Schwab and the WEF understand that as long as they can create fear with the false narrative of climate change, they can continue their march to their “Great Reset” which is this group of elites being a wealthy and powerful sovereign over the servants or the rest of us.
